About Shizuka Bernstein

Since opening Shizuka New York Day Spa in collaboration with dermatologist Robert M. Bernstein, M.D. her spa treatments, like her famous Geisha facial®s, have gained notoriety in New York City, the United States and abroad. In 2005 Ms. Bernstein introduced her own original line of skin care products. The Shizuka New York Skincare System was created using ingredients from around the world, including water from Mount Fuji, Sake, Green Tea, and Moroccan Lava Clay. Shizuka’s spa products have garnered praise from beauty editors and clients alike and have been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Zink, OK!, and in numerous Japanese publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, WWD, and Yahoo Japan. Shizuka was recently honored as a finalist in the Beauty and Fragrance Entrepreneur category of the Fashion Group International’s 10th Annual Rising Star Awards for her Skincare System. Shizuka combines the latest medical-grade equipment with traditional Japanese aesthetics to form a unique medical day spa featuring a full menu of services.
